I’m a big fan of both Earl Grey and lemon, and this tea combines the two in a unique and delicious way. The bergamot is present but it’s not super strong which allows the lemon flavor really sparkle and shine. Then, there is the vanilla note which isn’t a flavor as much as a creaminess added to the tea. The result is a lemon custard-y Earl Grey, and I throughly enjoy it.

In fact, I enjoy it enough that I purchased 250g of it over the holidays. Yeah. If you’ve ever been curious about this tea let me know. I have enough to share. :)

Also, bumping my rating up. The previous rating was 82

Funny story about this purchase: My favorite Earl Grey Cream is from Zen Tea which I was out of back in Novermber, so I bought some and told my husband that it was one of my Christmas gifts. When that tea arrived he wrapped it and set it aside for Christmas. Well, I went through Earl Grey withdrawals and in a moment of weakness bought 250 grams of this. When it arrived my husband got to the box first, assumed it was also a Christmas gift, and wrapped it! For a couple of weeks there was a ton of Earl Grey sitting under my tree and none in my cup. I was so,so, so happy to open those boxes!!! I made everyone stop unwrapping gifts while I went and made myself a cup of tea. It was glorious.

:D I’ve hidden tea from myself before. In trying to save it for whatever reason, I completely forget I have some. The surprise! ;p

@carol who – Lol. I’ve set tea aside thinking I would open it after finishing off some samples or bits and bobs of old tea only to forget about it. I even have a few apology letters in my tea log to teas I’ve forgotten. I recently started a spreadsheet for my stash, so hopefully I’ll forget less! :)

84-75 = They’re good teas and I enjoy drinking them on occasion.

74-65 = These teas are ok, but not really my thing.

64-55 = meh.

54-45 = I will if I have no other option.
