I bought this tea from The Tea Emporium in Oakville but they don’t have it up on their website anymore. Flowering teas are so pretty to view in glass teapots. I only brewed 2 min and it’s very light green tea. I can pick up the lavender but it’s very very light which is okay with me. Lavender can ruin and overpower a tea. There’s also a little bit of jasmine which is light. There’s supposed to be amaranth and chrysanthemum in it too. I think chrysanthemum is similar to chamomile and I do taste the chrysanthemum. It appears to be the strongest out of the 4 herbs. Amaranth is something I add to my henna so I’m assuming that where the very slight earthy taste is coming from.

Overall an interesting tea. I usually don’t pick up flowering teas because I have to brew two cups at a time.

Only one tea ball of this so another tea I get to cross off the list!

Green teas are my favourite teas but I also enjoy: white, some herbal, rooibos, raw pu’erh, light oolongs, a little bit of black , and a little bit of ripe pu’erh. I have moved away from artificial flavourings and there’s hardly anything left in my cabinet with artificial flavouring or colours. It is mostly straight teas or tea blends.
