13 Tasting Notes
Nothing bad to say about this tea. It is Robbust and tasted fresh.
I have never been one for jasmine teas or any of the fruity floral teas…so this was Perfect for me since it didnt really have n.e. of that kinda stuff really. It was bold and seemed to be picked and processed at the perfect time.
One thing I will say is it got me revved up a bit, a lot of caffeine…not in a bad way, just something to point out. Oolongs are that way more than some of the other teas I drink, so I expected it.
I will keep buying this tea if it is out there. Tieguanyin is the best Oolong I have found and its nice to have it hand picked as it feels a bit more authentic.
Brewed twice. By 4th steeping the leaves opened up and I was brewing it for about 2-3 minutes at a time…
I even iced it, it was amazing!
Preparation
I ordered a few of the more popular teas that I found on this site, and end up with some good teas. The taiwanese do Oolong best…somehow.
I thought that the Chinese started this…well its a nice tea even though it has some sweetness that I am not used to in it. I would drink it with newcomers or folks not used to Oolong yet, as it is easy to like but not the finest.
Preparation
I tried this tea a few months back and have to agree with most of the notess below; it was really a great tea.
Each steep I had was delcious. Maybe I noticed more caffeine than others, but this one had a lot of caffeine for me. I am sensitive because I usually drink Pu’er or other not so highly caffeineted drinks. This s not a bad thing, just saying.
I liked the vanilla hint also, a lot.
A great tea!
