45 Tasting Notes
Backlogging this one. It’s been a little while since I’ve done a detox, so I decided this was a good week to do one. Tomorrow is my last day of my “detox week”, and I’d have to say it’s nice. I’m feeling better about myself overall, maybe because I’m being healthier overall.
Either way, this tea tastes nice. I put a tsp. of honey in it, and I love it.
Sipping on this tea today, and reminded that this tea is about to be discontinued. I truly love this tea! And I am sad to see it go. Once again, a great tea with a tsp of honey added to it. Tastes okay without honey, but smells better than it tastes if you don’t add a little sweetener to it.
Just stocked up on this tea last night. I probably have about 50g left, but considering once it is sold out I’ll never see it again, I have decided to go ahead and purchase another 250g…will this get me through the rest of my life??? NOPE, and it will be a sad day. So anyone who has had this tea and knows of a tea I can switch to once this lovely tea is gone, PLEASE let me know!
Here for another tasting note. Made this tea with milk this time, making a version of a “tea Frappé”. This tastes okay. I’m not too keen on the milk, maybe I put too much…not sure because I’ve never put milk in my tea. It still tastes okay because the peppermint really comes through the milk flavor, but the milk is still a little strong for me. Maybe next time I’ll put less milk in (if I ever make this again). The tea by itself is still amazing! My boyfriend and I shared an entire teapot of this stuff last night, with just a little honey for sweetness. This is one of the few teas I can stand to drink unsweetened. Iced is really good as well. :D
Steeping this tea currently, and the smell was amazing as soon as I opened the package. Received this in the mail as a sample with their catalog. I will say this is probably one of their stronger smelling teas. All I can smell is blueberries, and it smells amazing! I’ve never had a blueberry tea I really love that tastes or even smells like a blueberry, so I am excited to try this tea.
As it steeps it is turning a beautiful dark purple, and still smelling like blueberries…just not as strong anymore. Only four more minutes of steeping left… :D Can’t wait to try this one. PLEASE DON’T LET ME DOWN RoT!!!
Wow…good tea here! The best blueberry tea I’ve had yet. It has a nice soft blueberry finish to it. I could actually drink this unsweetened. I drink EVERY tea with a tsp of raw honey, so that says a lot. It has a natural sweetness to it, and tastes like you’re eating an actual blueberry.
I could see myself buying this tea the next time I shop at the RoT. Good job guys! I’m a fan.
Preparation
Having this tea again, and still loving it. Since my first taste I’ve tried it cold…not bad, but I prefer this tea hot much more. It tastes good without any sweeteners, but I’m a honey in my tea kind of gal, so I’m sticking with my tsp of honey.
I find one perfect tea spoon of this stuff at 2.5 min steeping does the trick, not too strong, but not bland at all. The mint flavor really pops from this tea, and the aroma is really nice too.
Preparation
Yumm!!! Can I say new favorite! This tea smells and tastes just like creamsicles! I love it. It is a little bland compared to the smell without honey, but add a tsp of raw honey and it is delicious! I could drink this tea everyday! I haven’t tried it cold yet, but I imagine it would make a great summer time iced tea.
This tea wasn’t what I thought it would be. I can taste the sugar cookie in it, but just not like I imagined. My favorite cookies are sugar cookies, so maybe that’s why I was disappointed. I can’t place the exact flavor, but it just didn’t have that sweetness I expected. I think this tea just didn’t hit me the way I wanted, because my boyfriend loves this tea…so he now has a new tea in his collection. Maybe it’s one of those you like it or hate it teas.
