I’m excited to try this tea since it seems to be quite loved. The leaves are a beautiful mix of gold and black. There were quite a few broken and tiny pieces in my spoon so I’m hoping that it doesn’t get too bitter on me!
Sipping… oh, how lovely! It’s smooth, thick and rich. I taste the faintest flavor of sweet potato, but it’s wrapped up in a soft fruity note. This tea is very soft for me and I would like a bit more oomph, but it’s so sweet and enjoyable that I’m blaming my desire for a stronger cup on my mood right now.
