13 Tasting Notes
i am so happy that I did not review this tea the first time I tried it, because I remember being not too impressed. I have had it several times since and each time I try it I find something new to love about this tea. It steeps well multiple times, and the flavor subtly changes each time. It is a smooth, buttery, tea full of delicious subtle spices and each cup is a treat to see what flavors will emerge. this tea is not a bold, in your face tea, but rather smooth, relaxing and the kind that keeps surprising. A definite winner!
I have recently come down with a bad cold- as luck would have it, I brought this in to the office to try, boy was it amazing! The mint was strong and somehow made my head feel clearer and sharper. The chocolate was a very nice balance to the mint and did not come off as watery and insubstantial as many chocolate teas do. The tea had a nice zing to it, and I have gone through my entire sampler of it- think I’m gonna have to buy a big bag of this….
really nicely balanced- neither flavor seems to overpower the other. The banana also tastes like actual banana which is a nice change from the usual very artificial banana flavored things… This is a nice desert-ey tea, perfect for before bedtime when i try to avoid caffeine.

So I must admit that i got this one because it is supposed to be flavored like Irish potato pancakes- and I have never yet met a potato anything that i didn’t LOVE! so this tea…- it’s interesting, The aftertaste is surprisingly like a potato pancake, so I am amazed that this tea totally lives up to that claim… I also taste the honey, but I can’t seem to taste the vanilla. Although it’s quite an unusual tea, I kind of like it- not the kind I would reach for typically, but it is unique enough that I can see myself having this when a certain mood arises..
