41 Tasting Notes
Had a cup of this tea a while back and remember being pretty impressed. The base is black ceylon but the fruity undertones really enhance the overall flavour. Now that it’s summer I’d like to get some more and try a cup iced. With any ‘fruity’ teas the danger is an overpowering flavour yet this is nicely balanced with subtle hints of plum and berry!
Flavors: Berries, Fruity, Huckleberry, Plum
Preparation
Really enjoyed this tea! It’s sweet and goes down smooth. Especially the longer it steeps. I bet if this tea was chilled it would be perfect for a summer day. It makes an interesting cup as I can detect the subtle mix of flavours. I was worried that it would be overly sweet, as some tea’s of this flavour are, but the blend made just the right amount.
Flavors: Butter, Coconut, Pineapple
Preparation
I think I enjoyed this even more because it soothed a sore throat. I love lemongrass. The aroma is pleasant and the taste is refreshing. I took a few sips and then added some honey for sweetness. It was a good combination!
Flavors: Lemon, Lemongrass
Preparation
A very soothing tea! The vanilla aroma is nicely paired with the taste of rooibos. I added a splash of milk because I felt it would complete the dynamic of the taste. I feel that if Tetley released the loose leaf equivalent it would be getting gold stars and my rating would be higher. Still a very nice tea for the value!
Flavors: Oak, Rooibos, Vanilla
Preparation
A friend kindly served me a cup of this tea! The aroma and taste are very calming and goes down smooth. The fancy nylon teabag is a nice touch as well :) The jasmine and lemon are definitely at the forefront however there is a subtle scent of lavender. Definitely to be enjoyed on special occasions!
