drank Ancient Cherry by Gevalia
902 tasting notes

There are several different departments in my building. Operations is one of them. They all know I drink tea (their coffee machine is next to the sink where I get water), and like to poke fun. But they’re great guys, and one of them found tea at a garage sale, and brought me a box. I’d never heard of Gevalia tea or coffee, and was very excited to try this.

I’m not getting any cherry, or even any fruit taste, out of this green tea. It actually reminds me of Lapsang Souchong. It’s smoky and rich, but is light and still tastes like a good green tea. Yummy!

Bio

My love of tea started in 2001, whilst in an internship in London, England. I shared an office with a lovely man who would make me a cup of tea every morning without asking me if I even wanted it. I drink my tea neat now, because I’ve yet to find the sugar/milk combination that lives up to Pablo’s.

I drink any and all kinds of tea, and love trying new brands/varieties/flavors.
