I really liked this one when it came out and repurchased a bag when it was retiring. I’ve been saving that bag of this and decided to open it and make a cup. This tea from what I recall was somewhat similar to movie night with that sweet buttery flavor. Unfortunately, it seems like it’s spoiled as it has a weird plastic-like taste or something to it. If only I hadn’t saved it and had drunk it right away…
For whatever reason, I woke up around like 2 am craving matcha. So I decided to make a cup this morning at a more reasonable time. I just did a lazy prep method and used a milk frother to get it nice and foamy. This matcha is quite old but still tastes perfectly fine possibly due to storing it in the freezer.
