1324 Tasting Notes
So I thought that my last bag of this had gone bad according to my last note. I did want to try it again in case it was a fluke. Since then I’ve tried this tea and it seems fine prepared cold. I tried the method I’ve seen on Steepster of steeping it in milk. The first time I used way too much leaf and it was strong but still good.
This time I used less leaf and vanilla almond milk to steep it overnight in the fridge. It was perfect! It tasted like caramel corn and was very rich. I may have to try this prep method with some other teas.
Flavors: Butter, Butterscotch, Caramel, Sweet
I’m trying to finish off my open samples from AU so that I can open some of the other samples from them. I Tried brewing this one at a lower temperature and still don’t love it. I Don’t need to repurchase this one as I prefer AU’s Golden Arrow and H&H Black Cask Bourbon tea.
Preparation
this sample came from Derk
I’ll have to write more on this one later and do a comparison. I remember thinking this one reminded me of Lupicia’s Strawberry Vanilla Green. I have an unopened bag of that one and should do a comparison. I didn’t taste any pistachio but the strawberry was nice.
