688 Tasting Notes
This smells kinda like Reed’s ginger brew, or ginger candy. The flavour doesn’t really taste like cookies. It’s sweet, and gingery… like those candies. This would be really nice on a winter evening.
Preparation
Since I started a new Stargate SG-1 DVD, I needed some tea. I like having tea with my shows.
This tea smells like tootsie rolls (more so dry). Not sure why. The flavour is sorta generally sweet, with a little caramel. Nothing in it makes me think of praline. I might have to try with vanilla or vanilla next.
Preparation
This is a blend of my three favourite Adagio teas.
The aroma makes me think of marzipan with caramel sauce and orange zest. I do so enjoy the flavour of their almond rooibos. It pairs nicely with the sweetness in the caramel, and hints of citrus.
Preparation
I made this blend after liking the peach and apricot red bush teas.
My personal stash has more vanilla (rooibos) added. The aroma is mostly peach. And a bit of apricot, with a hint of vanilla. That is also really close to the flavour. Being also most strongly peach. It makes for a sweet evening or dessert tea, if you like fruit.
This tea smells fantastic. I will probably always prefer red rooibos. Though I rather like this green rooibos. The flavour isn’t that strong, but is still sweet and creamy. I do taste the creme brulee.
Thanks to QueenOfTarts for this sample.
Preparation
Tried this in store with the pineapple kona pop. This tastes like fruit juice. I like blueberries, but there were a lot of extra flavours. Maybe I would like it better iced, with less sugar.
