Was like drinking peppermint extract and reminded me of cough syrup in a way. I wasn’t a fan of this one at all, and couldn’t pick up on the chocolate flavoring.

drank Forever Nuts by DAVIDsTEA

Has a taste that reminds me of gooey, sweet, caramel apple pie with a cinnamon sugar topping. Makes a great latte and is one of my favorite “nutty” teas from DavidsTea. I find that it has a stronger, sweeter flavor than Toasted Walnut.

Really does taste strongly of caramel, vanilla and popcorn. Fun, sweet, and unusual. Makes a great latte too. The only thing I make sure to do with this is pick out the big chunks of cinnamon and throw them out, but that’s personal preference. I find that the cinnamon overpowers the other flavors if I leave it in.

drank Let It Snow by DAVIDsTEA

Yes! After being let down by all of the other Christmas/holiday teas released so far, I’m so happy to say that I love this one, lol. I’ve always wanted to drink eggnog, because I love the smell of it, but I can’t stomach the idea of drinking raw eggs. This tea solves my eggnog issue. It smells just like eggnog and has such a rich, creamy, sweet, spicy flavor. I adore it and will be hoarding it for sure. This is going to be my go-to dessert tea over the holidays. I love how strong and complex it is.

drank Candy Cane Crush by DAVIDsTEA

I accidentally bought 200g of this, thinking it was Santa’s Secret (which is also a black tea, vanilla, peppermint, sprinkles concoction). It looks amazing with the candy canes, white chocolate chips and snowflake sprinkles. It just… doesn’t taste good to me. No matter how much I use, it just tastes like I melted a candy cane into some hot water. Weak peppermint. And it kind of makes for a thick, oily-ish brew. I wanted white chocolate, vanilla-ish tones, creaminess, and actual black tea, and I get none of those things. All of the Christmas/holiday offerings from David’sTea have been absolute duds for me so far this year. Depressing. I don’t know what I’m going to do with 200g of this stuff :/

Hey HelloKoi! I work at DAVIDsTEA as a Keyholder – I’m not sure if you bought online or from a store, but if you’re near a store, pop back in and bring the tea with you! We’re not allowed to do returns on tea but we can absolutely do an exchange!

What your store should do is weigh out the tea, and then we can exchange it for whatever is left. So, say you drank 10g of tea then you’d get an exchange for 190g of something else that you will enjoy! :)

It’s definitely a better alternative to getting stuck with approx. 200g of something you hate!

Thank you for the tip _ I’ll have to check in with my local store.

There was supposed to be a smilie in there :)

drank Long Life Oolong by DAVIDsTEA

I can’t actually taste the oolong in this, but it’s like drinking sunshine. It’s like eating sweet, golden, fuzzy apricots and peach blossoms. Fruity-floral and cheery.

drank Lemon Pound Cake by DAVIDsTEA

I drink David’sTea instead of eating actual cake, and I feel pretty happy between Lemon Pound Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Birthday Cake and Carrot Cupcake (all amazing). Lemon Pound Cake tastes just like lemon infused cake topped with lemon-vanilla glaze, with a hint of gorgeous, vegetal oolong in the background. Yummy.

I’m honestly not incredibly knowledgeable about teas. My experience with tea is mainly with Adagio when I am in the States and DavidsTea when I am in Canada. DavidsTea made me fall in love with tea. I was initially seduced by their cake flavored teas and then started branching out and finding more and more to love. I like all of their bright colors and seasonal mugs, and I enjoy their fun ‘flavored teas’ as much as their more traditional teas. I figure this is at least a good starting point :)
