48 Tasting Notes
Not so sure about this one, I know everyone all seems to love it but.. Something with the smell and taste is really bugging me… And It is way too sweet for me and i’m only seeing like 2 tiny little piece of green tea in it…:S
Made me realise that I prefer sweet tea with fruit flavor rather then just maple or caramel or chocolate taste… Well I’ll keep that in mind until I find a sweet tea ( not a fruity one) I really like.
Preparation
I thought it was too sweet too. Though I still enjoyed it. You can probably use it fir mixing with teas that need a touch of sweetness. :)
I’m so glad I decided to get some of this tea this sunday. It was suggested by an employe of DT because there was no CopaBanana anymore (but there is still some since tonight… so all of you copabanana fan, go order some before it’s sold out for real!!! ).
The flavor is kind of mild but just enough for my taste, I can taste the banana at the end of the sip and a little bit of the walnuts ( not that much … I thought it would taste more nutty.. maybe there was not enough walnut piece in my 1.5 spoon of tea?..)
I had a crazy morning at the clinic this morning and was running all over the place so I forgot my tea and steeped it for more than 30 minutes and it was still really good, the black tea was not that bitter and the banana flavor was more powerful).
I just bought 30g of this so I’ll probably order some more soon.
Preparation
So I tried this tea in store today… Thank you 1$ straight tea promo I finally had a chance to taste this tea. It’s been on my wishlist since forever.
I’m kind of tired so this review will be short… WOW! This is all i’m gonna say, i’m resteeping it right now so maybe another review tomorrow! (But a little bit oversteeped)
No notes yet. Add one?
I really like it but i was hoping for a kind of tart taste (?:~e like cranberry juice)but it is not…it is actually really sweet. ~Really not a lot of black tea in it mostly big chunk of fruit. So if you are looking for a black or tart tea…maybe not this one ;) but again it is not what i was thinking it would taste like but it is a really good tea.
I’m so glad that I bought this tea for my Boy friend and not for myself because.. well… I HATE it…:S!
It reminds me of fish oil.. The smell, the taste, the color everything, and I hate fish oil with all my heart!!!
On the other side, my boyfriend really like it, he’s able the taste the ginger and the pu-erh and think I’m crazy with my fish oil thing (hehe so maybe it’s just me).
Because of this I won’t rate this tea, maybe it’s just really not my thing.
Preparation
This is really good, not bitter at all. It remind me of the taste of a really good green tea, a little bit sweet and no bitterness.
I’m really glad I have read the other review and decided to get some with my last DT purchase. And it is good for your health!
Preparation
This tea is not my favorite. Doesn’t remind me of creme brulée at all…
I’ll drink it anyway because all my desert tea are actual tea (black or green) and this one have rooibos as a base so it is ok for an evening tea. Not one I’ll restock.
The flavor is really weak, but it is ok if I add cane sugar and milk. OK but not amazing.
I think I may just be really difficult with desert tea. I still need to find one I find spectacular. Any suggestion?
Preparation
IIf you like rooibos blends, TheNecessiTeas has some FANTASTIC dessert teas http://www.thenecessiteas.com/store/index.php
Carrot Cake and Banana Bread are two of my favorites! I also adore DAVIDsTEA Forever Nuts :)
rooiboswise the really strong flavoured ones are Oh Canada and Creme Caramel. Creme Caramel rooibos is actually one of my fave! with steamed milk it tastes like caramel macchiato <3
