Drank six steeps of this and then brewed more for my photography. It was a nice tea but nothing spectacular. There was no bitterness and very little fermentation to it. There were also no wet storage notes. There was a sweet note but it was not pronounced enough to call it dates, more a muted sweetness. I liked this tea but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it again.

I steeped this six times in a 159ml Yixing Teapot with 12.5g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, and 20 sec.

This is another nice tea from Moylor. While it is not in any way spectacular it tastes far better than the cost would suggest. It was a little bittersweet at first with a moderate amount of fermentation flavor. Initially a light amber color to the tea which got darker and thicker as I resteeped it. For the price it is very good, I think I paid around $13 or so for this one. Someone had speculated that it probably isn’t from 2003 but about that I have no way to know. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to restock this tea but I will certainly drink it again.

I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 sec. The last couple of steepings were for my tea photography but I drank them cold after I was done taking pictures.

This was a fairly nice ripe tea although I doubt it was from Ancient trees. The price was too low. It had a moderate amount of fermentation flavor with a sweet taste and no bitterness. This was the first tea I have drank from my Moylor order and this tea was surprisingly good for a $20 tea. I really have no complaints about this tea.

Got a sample of this last week and ordered a cake on Black Friday. This is a nice tea if a bit pricy. There was not as much fermentation taste as I was expecting and what was there was sweet at first then a little bitterness as the tea opened up. Overall this was quite good.

I steeped this eight times in a 70 ml teapot with 6g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 sec.

This is a very nice tea made, it is said , from higher grade materiel than shou is usually made from. It had a nice flavor from the start with a moderate amount of fermentation flavor left. It had notes of what you could call bittersweet dark chocolate. I had ordered a sample of this with my last order. Now I have ordered a bing. It is too bad this is not a 357g cake but that is the only thing I don’t like about this.

I steeped this ten times in a 160ml Jian Shui Teapot with 12g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec, and 1 minute.

Today I drank the 2017 B___ P___ from the White2Tea club. They sent only 50g as this is said to be of high quality leaves. It was good tea, whether it was truly higher quality I don’t know how you tell this. It was sweet from the beginning with floral notes to it. The tea did develop some notes you might call Apricots or Stonefruits. This is probably one I would buy if they put it on their site for a reasonable price.

I steeped the tea eight times in a 50ml gaiwan with 190 degree water and 3.5g of leaf. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, and 30 seconds.

Overall this is a nice tea and a good value. The entire brick was thrown in my last order as a free sample. Yunnan Sourcing may no longer give out free samples but Puerhshop still does. The brick was tightly compressed and took a couple of steeps to loosen up and open up. There was some fermentation taste to this but not as much as expected, and the flavor was more sweet than other things. Certainly no fishy taste. The fermentation taste lasted only a few steeps and I was left with a nice semi sweet ripe puerh tea. Not sweet like sugar but it was there. I would also say that there was a bit of a fruity taste in the latter steeps but cannot pin it down to a specific fruit. Overall I liked this tea.

This is a relatively nice tea. It has clearly been dry stored judging by the color of the tea which was a dark yellow except for the third steep which was darker. It is fairly mellow and a little bit sweet with no bitterness to speak of. It is a good puerh but by no means spectacular.

I steeped this nine times in a 70ml teapot with 4.2g leaf and 200 degree water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped it for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, 30 sec, and 45 sec.

Got this in my recent order. First thing to say is the fermentation taste is very strong and earthy. I would not say fishy but it is strong. It is a very thick dense liquid, bittersweet at the start. It slowly turned to a more sweet note. One might say there are some chocolate notes but I am not sure. Overall it is a nice ripe that does need to age another six months really but it was good.
