drank Royal Black Imperial by Clipper Ship Tea Co.
1758 tasting notes

This tea is overly malty (not meaning chocolate malt) and not that great. It definitely goes into the category of teas I will not buy again. It has a bit of a sour note to it too. It has not been in my cupboard long enough to have gone bad.

I brewed this once in an 18oz teapot with boiling water and 3 tsp leaf for 3 min.

Boychik, if you get to Clipper Ship Tea Co avoid this one. It has a nice aroma but is not so great.

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
