806 Tasting Notes
I steeped it for 10 minutes so it looks like a dark red ruby fruit juice. I definitely get hints of minty freshness from it as well as a more sour berry juice flavour which would probably be the hibiscus mixed with lemon. Makes almost for a heavy ruby lemonade tea feel but not quite enough lemon for that. It definitely won’t be to everyone’s taste and I probably wouldn’t order it for myself but it is tasty.
Flavors: Hibiscus, Lemon, Mint

I love making latte’s of this to start my morning and to take my iron supplement and multivitamin. It’s also a lot cheaper then going to an actual Starbucks for the same thing when I buy 3 cartons from Costco for the price of one Frappuccino. Now I have to catch up on my tea news because I have been away from the community for a bit.
Preparation
Apparently I forgot to add this one to the tea cupboard.. oops! I’m enjoying it a lot though. It’s definitely one I’ll be reordering. My favourite way to have it is latte style, though I probably could drink this one straight since it’s not bitter like other Matchas I have tried in the best. I might even buy the travel packets so I can have it on the go.

Gosh my stash is a bit old, Actually it’s from when they switched from Red Leaf Tea to Matcha Outlet but I prefer to go back and call it Red Leaf Tea because I think it was better as a company before the switch. You definitely had a lot of flavours to choose from and I miss that.

Okay this is super tasty. I’m getting better at making matcha or at least I like to think so! I still use a mechanical whisk though so not very traditional but dang if it doesn’t froth nicely. I decided to turn it into a latte since it’s my first time with this matcha. Super tasty and definitely recommend it!
Flavors: Green Beans, Vegetal

Oh yes, as soon as I opened the package I was hit with a lovely rich smoky smell. Once brewed the taste was equally smoky. It put me in the mood of campfires and smoky bbq meat. I love smoked meat, and smoked cheese so it’s no wonder I love a good smoky tea!

Somebody else mentioned cheese pairings today. LS and a good, grilled cheddar cheese on rye …. is making me hungry!
I’m in the wrong part of the world … I have never been in a Costco before! However, we’re a little weird … when we do go on vacation (rarely), we make it a point to stop in unfamiliar grocery stores to see how other people shop!
@gmathis Costco is basically Sam’s Club if you’ve ever been to one of those. It’s a warehouse style store where things are sold in bulk like sizes. It requires a membership to get in, but it’s usually worth it.
I was watching the Thai BL show Ingredients when the guy made a matcha latte, it reminded me that I haven’t had matcha in quite some time, so I went to make my own latte though not as good as looking as his because I can’t do latte art. Still I’m enjoying my latte but then I went on to the website to order more and it looks like they don’t make the flavours anymore. Sigh, I guess I need to find a new matcha place. I don’t like DT matcha though because their blends are much too sweet for me.
