I knew this wouldn’t come up in the advent this year, so decided now is the time for a note! From the July sale. l have never had a yule log cake, so nothing to compare. Visually, the tea is very festive with little green lime leaves and red peppercorns! I think these are just added for visuals because otherwise the blend is CHOCOLATE. The scent of the dry leaf is perfectly chocolate. Usually chocolate teas can be bad but this one isn’t. The ingredients also list stevia, but luckily it must be the perfect amount because I can’t tell there is stevia here. (Also no lime flavor from the lime leaves!) The flavor is cocoa and milky chocolate, almost like a truffle. The black tea itself might have a natural hint of dark berry. The second steep is also delicious and fully chocolate! I will never get sick of cocoa shells.
Steep #1 // 1 1/2 teaspoons for full mug // 20 minutes after boiling // 2 minute steep
Steep #2 // 2 minutes after boiling // 4 minute steep
Flavors: Chocolate

Maybe they will bring it back next year! (or maybe even the boxing day sale – they bring random teas back for sales)
I’m trying all the B&B teas in my house which I hadn’t previously opened so I know if there’s anything I need to stock up on in the sale – gotta be prepared! :P

Wowzers! There will never be an end to the list of teas I’d like to try or books I’d like to read.
