That’s quite the description there Richard! LOL! I’ve never known how to describe it since it’s a relatively unique flavor so I refer to it as the “Keemun” flavor. Not being a smoker I’m not sure how accurate you are but I could imagine it to be pretty close.
Eventho the box says a light flavour strength I think it’s a good black tea taste…not too light, really, but not too strong either. Nice pleasing scent and you can pick up the hints of orange and lemon but they are minimal…just enough.
I am not sure if I let it steep long enough, but it gave it a smooth, translucent taste that I rather liked. It’s pouring now, and I’m about ready for a nap.
