New Tasting Notes

Before steeping you can REALLY smell the Papaya, Mango, and Peaches! Delightful smell! After steeping you can only really smell the peaches…still a pleasant scent. It seems to be fairly thirst quenching. A nice soft tea. I’m thinking a rice dish would go good with this…maybe I will even try cooking with it!

I love the way this tea smells and people comment whenever they pass my desk that “something smells good!” All the flavors blend together really well.

We just got our package in the mail from Paris. I’m so happy that this tea made its way to me!

This stuff is awesome. It contains the most caffeine of all green teas yet still not as much as coffee.

When you first open the individually wrapped teabag the scent is pretty over the top…smells like a fresh bottle of fruity sweet wine. Once it’s steeping it loses much of it’s scent. It’s lighter in color. The taste is a good fruity flavor with OUT being bitter. I’m usually not into many Fruit-Like Blends because they tend to be a little much (or bitter or too sour) but this one is pretty good and I am sure it would be even better iced.

Dark in color for an inexpensive tea. Next to nil on aroma. Average Black Tea. Slight Orange-ish undertones. Not much to it but it’s not bad either.

Medium Black Colored Tea. Next to no scent once steeped. Average Black Tea taste with nifty raspberry and orange undertones. I still enjoy and like this tea for what it is…pleasant and not pushy.

Soft, subtle and fragrant. This tea is great for relaxing with, and is smooth and calming.

A little bland but a good one to end the day with.

Not your average black tea. The pearls were gorgeous to watch as they unfurled, and the taste is crisp and warm, with a spicy undertone.

VERY light in color. A refreshing minty taste but not over the top. Smells, well, springy. Very inexpensive – good in a pinch – and you can save the tin!

One of my favorites! Burst of warm lemon ginger that rejuvenates the senses. Buttery gold in color… very nice. Aww Tea

One of my favorite teas. Smooth, milky and buttery with an almost savory quality. Good for 3-4 infusions (which is great because I now want to drink 3-4 cups per night). Steep for 3 min @ 180F.

Nice strong black tea base. The coconut & vanilla flavors (and an added touch of stevia) give it an almost dessert like quality after lunch.

Mom brought me a bag of individually wrapped flowering teas from China. This particular one has a buttery jasmine flavor. Mmmmmm.

I didn’t like this the first time I tried it and I liked it even less the second. The vanilla tastes artificial and there’s something just off about the flavor combination.
