New Tasting Notes

A favorite cup. The second infusion was far and away the best. Juicy, soft, grassy and bright.

This has a nice mellow spicy chai flavor to it. Regular chai tends to be too overwhelming for me, especially without milk.

It has a nice flavor, and is very calming. Note to self: Not quite the best tea to drink when trying desperately to stay awake.

Double cup, 4 raw sugar.

Even the smallest quantities of caffeine make me feel like my eyes are popping out of my skull, so I was pleased that this had no such effect. This had a pretty classic black tea taste. Nothing complicated. Just tea.

Before I steeping kind of smelled like a room that had been closed for a while…a hint of musky, moldy smell…not much scent after steeping, maybe a hint of Berry. Darker in Color than I thought it would be…definitely the Berry factor. Can taste a bit of green tea, white tea after taste with a tad of Pomegranate flavor and berry. It’s ok.

Darker Color than I thought it would have which I like. I can smell a hint of anise or cinnamon or both. You can taste the Pomegranate and Lemon Grass, maybe. So far I like this MoOT Tea so far. I kinda like it.

Really nice tea, hot yes.. but especially iced! I do prefer it a little sweet, which is extremely rare for me, but I feel it helps bring the blackberry flavor to the front a bit more. The sage is very refreshing, a smart add to this blend.

This is my favorite tea to have when I’m having a bad day or feeling under the weather. It has a sweet scent, and is extremely smooth going down. I always add a little honey, but I wouldn’t say you have to. Fruity in flavor, but not too strong.

I am honestly a little on the fence with this one, but because I wouldn’t actually steer people away from it I’ll give it a thumbs-up. Has a smooth and slightly bold flavor, not too fruit in my opinion, and a little bit sour (in the expected citrus way, given it has grapefruit). Couldn’t pick out the peony, but maybe that’s just me?

I am always a little iffy on green teas, but this one isn’t bad. It’s very light in flavor, I wouldn’t say it’s very sweet though. To me this isn’t a bad thing, but the description may be misleading for some.

I was excited to get this in the mail from a friend.. until I drank it. I spit it back into the cup. To me, it tasted like an antacid pill. No thank you!

I am a big fan of rooibos, and certainly chai; this one isn’t too bad a blend. Easy and smooth going down, I believe the rooibos helps take the sting out of the chai’s spices. This might be good for people looking for a less-intense chai flavor.

I drank this… unfortunately. bitter, dusty, yuk. This tea is so much crap.

While it’s not the finest chai out there, it’s still tasty. You can easily pick up the smell of the cardamom and ginger, and definitely taste it on the way down. Strong flavor, but still lacking something.. can’t put my finger on what.

Love it! You might have to shake/mix it often though because some particles can settle at the bottom.

I couldn’t personally pick out the different flavors in this one.. I just thought it was “fruity” but more in the mixed berry sort of way.. strange, seeing as it’s coconut, a usual favorite of mine! Perhaps it’s just the way this is blended? A nice afternoon tea, or dessert after a filling dinner.
