Popular Tasting Notes
Strong chocolate and caramel aroma, with solid, malty black tea base.
The taste is not that good. I generally like Fredsted teas, but this one tastes like a steeped cardboard – bland, watery, with artificial flavouring.

Definitely one of the prettier teas that I’ve seen, and the aroma in the tin is absolutely delicious. It’s a decent tea when brewed hot, a yummy, fruity confection, but nothing earth-shattering. I can coax about 3 good infusions out of it, which is always nice.
The game changes, though, when it’s cold-brewed. It becomes bright, bold, sweet, tropical. I don’t get vegetal hints while drinking; it’s almost pure fruitiness. I’m running low on it now, because I’ve always got a jar cold-brewing in my fridge.

Preparation
I picked up the Electric Lemonade which is the Tea of the Month for July 2015. It is pretty good! I think I like it better than the Pink Lemonade. I am definitely a person who prefers sweet to tart and, as a I recall, the Pink Lemonade was more tart than this. I made a bunch of the Electric Lemonade over the weekend as an iced tea and it is a great tea when there are hot temperatures out there. Very refreshing! It will not be one of my absolute favourites, but it makes a decent iced tea.
I absolutely love this tea! I even made sure to hoard a whole bunch of it as well since it’s quick to finish because of how big the pieces in the mix are. It smells delightful and as a fan of banana-flavored things (let alone banana bread !!!), this was an instant hit for me. I definitely enjoy it hot/warm and sometimes I’ll add a bit of milk to it for extra flavor. If you’re a fan of banana-flavored or baked goods tea, I would definitely recommend.
