Simply peppermint—not a favorite genre of tea for me, but an adequate representative.

My children love this tea. They ask for it by name. Nice sweet and tart flavour.

This tea is so good and I’m savoring the last of this tea since I didn’t know about it until it was too late. I really really hope they bring this tea back but in all reality they probably won’t so I will have to be content with savoring what I have. It reminds me of chocolate chip cookies more than a chocolate covered almond.

I was informed that this tea would be very strong, so strong that a suggested brew time would be about 10 seconds. I, on the other hand, brewed the tea for over 30 seconds (though this was the third or fourth batch made from my leaves). The tea brewed a deep brown color, and smelled, in my opinion, strongly of rice. The taste was a wonderful mix of bitter and smokey, like the sensation of drinking sweet tea after eating barbecue, and a floral sweetness. The after taste was reminiscent of the feeling of minty freshly brushed teeth. I thoroughly enjoyed this tea.

This tea is SO delicious. I love it.
My friend (a total tea nerd… she’s given me all kinds of great tea tips) made me try this, insisting it tasted like “drinking a chocolate orange.” It’s true! It’s the sweetest, most smooth and beautifully tasty tea I’ve ever had. It’s chocolate-y and citrus-y and so sweet and wonderful. It’s strong and it’s the perfect tea to drink while doing homework. YUM!

INCREDIBLE tea. The perfect mixture of sweet, hot, and refreshing, this tea will add a perk to your step. Perfect for sipping in the mall during the winter, although it’s just as good in any season. A personal favorite of mine.

This tea…right here…? No this is mine. Yeah it does smell amazingggg. No you can’t have a cup, I’m sorry. No, not even from the third steep.

I’m starting to understand my tea preferences a little more every day. Also starting to understand why people like dessert teas so much. I only ordered a sample pack of this so I’m going to have to hide it. I will definitely be ordering a larger amount once I’m settled.

Right out of the bag the most amaazzing smell. Sweet cream and chewy caramel. The little pieces of caramel are cute. And they do not dissolve quickly. I still had a tiny piece left after the 3 steep. Very yummy with honey and natural cane sugar. The smell is a tiny bit muted after steeping but it still snells delightful.

Certain teas effect my acid reflux and this might be one of them. As there’s almost a coffee-like undertone. Anyone know the caffeine level?

First cup. Steep 2 mins.
The scent of fresh cut alfalfa. Woodsy flavors of grass, lemon peel, barley. Similar to a dense genmai cha. A great accompaniment to steak, meat soups or stews, mushu, or pork BBQ.

Second cup. Steep 5 mins.
The first steep seems to have washed off most of the tannins. This cup is a much cleaner taste, slightly more floral.

I found this to be a lovely black tea. It was mellow, smooth, and not at all bitter. It even tasted good once it was cold. I didn’t so much catch the pine flavor, but I did catch the smoky cacao.
