Popular Tasting Notes
The website for this tea company seems to be working again, so I went back to compare the description with the taste and smell. I’m not sure where the peonies and chrysanthemums flavours they’re talking about are hiding, because they’re certainly not in the tea. I never got the peppery note either.
Oh well. Rating remains the same. Pleasant, but not mind-blowing.
This tea is quite nice! It has a full body and I can taste the caramel, coconut and almonds distinctly – though almonds aren’t actually listed in the ingredient list and must be part of the “artificial flavoring”. Not sure I really taste the candied apple, but the tea certainly is red. I tend to like strong and sweet teas, so I used the full 2 tsp per 8oz. ( brewed as 4 tsp for 16 oz) and about 3/4 of a tsp. of rock sugar. Perfect! There was no bitterness or sourness, and the tea stands perfectly well on its own. I could see how it would nicely combine with a chocolate chai as well.

The Daily Matcha from Mizuba Tea Co. has found its place in my life, and I am not mad about it! It has literally been the best, and EASIEST “daily” routine I have added into my lifestyle. I just add matcha powder and water into my Mizuba Klean Kanteen (which they also sell), close the lid tight, and then I shake and go. It’s so quick and easy and the taste falls nothing short to how amazingly and quickly I can make and drink my Daily Matcha. It is mellow, smooth, buttery and sweet, altogether, just like it says :)
