Popular Tasting Notes
I love this tea, and so does my 20 year old daughter. I sent it to college with her and she says it was a miracle for her. I have had the same results, that after drinking it at night, my cold or sore throat symptoms are gone by the next morning. I really like the taste, but am upset that I can no longer find it in the stores, or on the Celestrial Seasonings site. I am hoping this is a temporary thing.
Preparation
Brewed a cup earlier today. I noticed what others said about the sediment and oils, but neither really bother me much. This was pleasant, yet underwhelming; definitely reminded me of fall. I got 50g at 50% kind of on impulse. I still much prefer my Pumpkin Chai from David’s but this is nice.
Spicy and warm smelling with sweet high notes.
Smells just like Apple pie .
Perfect fall flavor. Lightly sweet followed by the warming effect from the cinnamon. Nice and ideal for those who don’t want too much cinnamon and still a great strength for me. I usually like my cinnamon brazen. Good and decent tea.
Flavors: Cinnamon
I had read good things about this tea online, but was put off by the high cost. Then yesterday I was lucky enough to try this tea thanks to my dad’s partner having a sample in her cupboard.
I love how the little buds unfurl right there in the cup. The flavour was very light – we used 3 buds as they recommended 2-4, but I enjoyed it. We did use boiling water though, as we don’t have a tea thermometer, but it didn’t make the flavour bitter for me.
Thinking about it, I realised 100g of these little buds will go a long way with me using 3 per cup, so I took the plunge and put in an order from T2!
