Hello! New to Steepster!
Hello hello, and welcome aboard! I know you’ll be meeting all sorts of lovely, friendly and incredibly kind people here. I’ve been a member for little under a year and I’ve only fallen deeper into the pit of tea-addiction. I’m not complaining, mind you. ;) If you ever want to talk or have questions about anything, shoot me a message!
Welcome! If you need any puerh help just hit me up.
Oh yes, I’d love to try more Puerhs. I’m in love with them now.
What kind do you recommend?
Depends on whether your preference is sheng/raw or shou/ripe. What have you tried so far?
Pu-erh spice by Adagio really is it. I haven’t tried a plain one yet. I want to tho! I’d like to try both.
not a personal fan of puerh but Yunnan Sourcing has some stuff on Amazon Prime. you could try that. otherwise I’ve heard great stuff about White2Tea and Crimson Lotus.
Hopefully I’ll get a sample of it soon one place or another. I want to try the good stuff :)
Hi! This truly is a nice, nice bunch of interesting and eclectic people. (Once your Adagio credit runs out thanks to all the stuff people recommend to you, it’s fun to concoct your own faux-Foxtrot. Hit up a local herb/natural grocery store and you can buy rooibos, chamomile, peppermint cheaply by the ounce and experiment with proportions until you’re happy with it.)
I bet! But there is no herb or natural grocery store where I live. We have a Walmart and a couple country grocers. That’s it. Nothing like those ingredients to be found. Thanks for the idea tho! Maybe one day I’ll finally make it to Portland and such things could be possible. :)
If there is a farmer’s market nearby, you could try there for the chamomile and peppermint. And many websites sell plain rooibos.
Also, you could try Green Rooibos, many people have reported that it tastes much better then the Red.
Hi tea loving friend! I just signed up here as well and wanted to say HELLO! I hope we can both learn a lot more about tea as this place seems really cool. Let’s become friends! :)
Hello! I’m new, too. Mostly addicted to David’s Tea. But I haven’t tried much else except some Teavana (don’t like as much) and prepackaged ones. I’m eager to try some of the other loose tea brands, though I’m concerned that I’m drinking wayyyyy too much tea lately.
