Hello! New to Steepster!

Just saying hi! I just joined today. I’m an avid tea drinker. Adagio is my favorite tea site. I love flavored black teas and herbals most. Earl Grey Bravo is my favorite blend. Foxtrot is my favorite herbal and Masala chai is my favorite spiced tea. :) (Sorry for multi-cultural redundancy!)

I’d love advice on diving into the community here!
Hello all! :)

First thing is to add all of your teas in your “cupboard” and write tasting notes on each one as you drink them. Use the reviews on your favorite tes and the “Explore” button to find people to follow so that you can follow their tasting notes regularly and comment on them if you see fit. Browse through the discussion section and comment and topics that interest you. If you really want to jump into the community I would start swapping teas with people and/or join a traveling tea box. Those are always fun :)

Hello and welcome! I’m confident that you’ll find this site as warm and welcoming as I did…but watch out for your wallet! I’ve spent more money on tea than pretty much anything else recently, although so far it’s been so worthwhile.

Arshness said

Thank you! I won’t have to worry about that too much. I have a lot of credit built up on Adagio so I will buy my tea from there. That wallet is welcome to spend itself on tea :)

…you say that now…. lol

Right? Taking bets on how long Bravo stays the favorite tea!

Haha… If you have an Earl Grey you find to be more pleasing, by all means, recommend. :) Earl Grey is just my sweet spot for tea.
I also adore Apple, Blueberry decaf, Birthday, Foxtrot, Masala Chai and good Egyptian Chamomile. (Don’t care for German Chamomile).

It sort of reminds me of me when I first joined here, I had Earl Grey Bravo, Earl Grey Moonlight and Adagio Cream and though they were the best teas out there. Now that I have been on these boards for a while and tried some others, I have found many others out there that I think are better. But, drink what you like, for sure! A couple of EGs I like are the cream versions from Zen Tea and Persimmon Tree.

Ee thanks. It’s Stupid Fox. I love that comic. It’s a comic I’d have written if I hadn’t decided to start calling myself StupidFox and then found out that it was a comic by googling that haha. :)
Really I just find the Stupid Fox to be a cute. ^^

Hello, and welcome aboard. As for Adagio, I like their flavoured rooibos.

Arshness said

Thank you!
I can’t stand rooibos unless it’s hidden well inside another tea for the most part. I love Foxtrot, but vanilla Rooibos… smells of medicine and I just can’t abide the taste.

I really don’t get how it tastes like medicine.
Did you make any of your own blends? Mine are under the name Spice Lady.
