12 Days of Christmas Swap

So, mail arrived and no more new packages for me :(

I drank one of the two sent by MissB today, though! So – I’m sorta doing them? Though it’s gonna be really out of order by the time I get them all.

Though I haven’t been posting much at all, I want to say how much I have been enjoying the packages. Everyone knows how much time went into just addressing and packaging the tea. I just want to say that I have enjoyed each one in its own way and I don’t think anyone should feel bad about not measuring up. This is my first swap and I have learned a ton-so Thanks to each one of you, even though we are not done. My family is even interested in seeing what I receive, which has tickled me as well! I have been busy with Christmas visitors, cooking, and keeping up with having the kids home. My ratings are coming-I have been jotting them down, just not here yet.

After Kelci’s note, I thought I’d add mine. These are all such thoughtful packages, and opening each one really makes my day. I really love the themed teas, and I love that everyone put effort into choosing their teas. When I was standing in line to send these, I have to say that I was thinking how easy it would have been to not bother at all, but now, after open ing several of them I am so glad that I decided to participate. Thanks for extending Christmas and making the Twelve days magical!

The creativity for the last few days has been really astounding! I think I would have really struggled coming up with ideas for Day 9 or Day 10! :)

I will be traveling tomorrow, so I just wanted to post a quick note on Day 12 tonight (no spoilers). I was one of the last people to sign up for this, and wanted to make sure that I got my packages to everyone in time. So I didn’t have as long to think about this as I might have wanted.

The choice of my theme tea should be obvious. I’m not as creative as the rest of you! I also included a random bonus tea that had a winter theme. Except for the two recipients in Canada. Their samples were sealed samples because I thought it might raise fewer questions going through customs.

I just want to say how glad I was to participate in this group trade, and it really was a nice thing to look forward to after all the activity of Christmas. I was continually impressed by the creativity and thoughtfulness of the people in the group and the variety of teas is wonderful.

It’s been great sharing the 12 Days of Christmas with you all, and I hope you like the 12 Drummers Drumming.

I’ve taken pictures of everything now, and will post them later today. Incidentally, I received Day 7 today! Yay! So beautiful, and so much work put into it… did anyone get a picture of Day 1? I seem to have missed it.
