If a person who loves food is a foodie, what do you call someone who loves tea?

Those into food are labeled foodies, but I always wondered if there was one word to describe people who are really into tea. Does anyone know? Maybe we need to make up one….

My aunt calls me a “tea granny”. As in: an old grandmother. Not sure why tho…

I don’t either. After googling tea granny, I found a lot of references to it but still don’t know how the term started

My parents call me a tea snob. Lol! I like Lala’s term better. I think it would be a good name for a tea group too.

I believe I’ve seen ‘teaist’ used to refer to a tea lover/connoisseur or someone who appreciates the art of tea.
But I think I prefer Lala’s Madhatter :)
