Did an email go out to subscribers about this one? I didn’t get one this time. Bit I received last weeks. Hrmmm. Sounds delish but I’m overflowing with Rooibos in my cupboard right now.

You might check your spam folder(s). It did go out to all 775 email subscribers.

Nope, nothing. I’ll sign up the other address just to make sure. Just odd because I got last weeks and marked the address so it would be ok.

Thank you Frank! I am so glad that you have this tea this week, because it is actually one that does not tempt me whatsoever. :)

I needed a week off. I’ve been an ordering machine lately when it comes to your weekly offerings. So… thank you.

Ouch. That hurts. Really.

:)

There there, things will be alright ;)

Aww… Frank, I didn’t mean it like that, really I didn’t! I am just glad that I am NOT tempted by it, because I ordered the strawberry matcha, and then two weeks later I ordered the Neapolitan, and then last week the Pineapple Upside Down cake. (and these weren’t the only teas that I ordered each of these three orders!) I could not justify another purchase in the month of April.

You tempt me toooooo much, Frank. I needed a week off!

(by the way, my birthday is coming. Think of something REALLY good, kay?)

oh… by the way… Really Good = no peanut butter.

I can pass on this and save up for the 1lb of Mayan Chocolate Chai that I’m praying will be on sale tomorrow. What about a multi pepper tea? (a blend of green, red, orange, and jalapeno?)

Also resisting. I love cinnamon. But I have too much black tea currently.

i caved, with the reblend of chocolate banana rooibos i couldn’t not!

the elderberry green tea sounded really interesting, I caved and got it. Can’t wait for it to get here.

i can’t wait to see your review…i have no idea what elderberry tastes like and so am a little scared of it, but if it tends twoard delicious i might need to grab it!

Cofftea said

I’m tempted… I’m not that big on any fruity tea, but I’ve never had elderberry anything.

Garrett said

Yeah, I’ve never had elderberry anything either, and the combo of the sour grape/blueberry taste is also what got me with this one.

Cofftea said

Um… yeah… I don’t like grape (although I love white wine, go figure that) or blueberry…

Erin said

My only reference to elderberries is: “Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!”

It DOES sound interesting! I love elderflowers but have never had elderberries!

Meghann M said

I’ve never had elderberries, but loved the description and I don’t have many green teas, so this one is on the way to me!

Makes me think of an old song from Elton John’s Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only the Piano Player Album. “Drunk all the time, feelin’ fine on elderberry wine….”

Ahhh—-I love Butter Pecan!!! It’s my favorite ice cream flavor! I must have this.

I love butter pecan flavored ice cream too… but my favorite ice cream is cold stone – using their cake batter ice cream, slivered almonds, bananas, and caramel.

Stephanie said

Cold Stone!! I used to love them too until I looked up the ingredients for their ice cream online (http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/assets/pdf/nutrition/Ingredients_Ice_Cream_Sorbet_04_01_10.pdf) —soo many gummy and artificial fillers!! :( Now I can’t help but think about all that stuff when I eat it now.

If I look at that, am I going to cry?

Stephanie said

No, don’t look at it. ;) Sometimes ignorance is bliss. If I didn’t know—I’d still be enjoying my fave “That’s How I Roll” creation to this day.

Maybe if I let the bowl of ice cream sit opened, untouched, for about 2 minutes before I eat it, it will give all of those bad ingredients a chance to get out of my bowl so I don’t eat them.

Stephanie said

lol! I wish!!

Meghann M said

I’m going to go for the ignorance is bliss with Cold Stone as I’m lucky if I have it once a year and it is sinfully good. And yum on the Buttered Pecan Tea. I just ordered some. I really should just cave and do a 12 week plan, but the rooibos/honeybush blends of late scared me away…had too many herbals. Buttered Pecan sounds amazing! Can’t wait to try it.

OMG! I must try Butter Pecan. Frank… are you going to make me a chocolate fudge cupcake flavored tea for my birthday? :)

Or how about a lemon chiffon cupcake flavored tea?

Cofftea said

Or a chocolate fudge cupacke flavored matcha. Maybe w/ creame cheese so it’s like it has matcha cream cheese frosting. Butter cream?

Um… on second (third?) thought… I think I want a tea that is just like my favorite ice cream that I mentioned… cold stone cake batter ice cream, with slivered almonds, caramel and bananas. Yes…. yes… that is what I want. :)

PS: I like being a tea customer better than being a tea artist. LOL (although… now that I think about it, this tea would be best with my caramel tea. Maybe you could just make the cake batter ice cream with bananas and almonds part, and I’ll blend it with my caramel tea hahaha!)

I would really LOVE to be able to pull this off for you for next week, but I’m afraid I don’t have all of the supplies I would need

OK. That’s acceptable. :) I was just joking anyway. Although it would be an amazing tea!

You know what Robert Frost said about that? He said, “I’m never more serious than when I’m joking.”

How about THIS for a tea flavor idea: Earl Grey Cupcake! :)

Cofftea said

Bergamot matcha?

I would definitely try a bergamot matcha. But, I personally prefer my Earl Grey in a black tea blend. I’d really love to try a bergamot Oolong! I do love Oolong (even more than Matcha) Speaking of which, Frank… do you possibly… maybe, just maybe, have any of your raisin Oolong left?
