Tea of the day. Not sheng or shou
Jin Jun Mei from Wuyi Origin today. The sample bag did not specify exactly which one, but this is last years harvest. Bud heavy, with plenty of golden tips.
This tea has the perfect amount of malt to my tastes, which is just a touch. Thick, creamy, and ENERGIZING. Maybe I didn’t need to use the whole 11 gram sample, but I wasn’t sure what I’d do with just a couple of grams left over. Surprising longevity – I’m used to bud-heavy teas being more of a flash-in-the-pan, but this one took a while to quit. I’ll probably need to get more of this one.
I had Panyang Congou with Cashew milk for breakfast Now i’m getting “Drunk on Red” :)
