roasted Yimu from postcardteas. Reliably comforting goodness.
I had to stay away from steepster for a few months because of money not being there for tea. It was hard!
Caved and had to buy more tea!
Currently drinking the 3rd prize shan lin xi from dragon tea house.
Just as good as I remember it – cherries, sweetness, creamy, subtle cherry roasty, dark green slightly spinach but the sweetness stops it from being vegetal,.
Brilliant for the price imo, a total joy to drink.
I’m enjoying a strong late nite pot of organic Tonganagaon Assam.
2017 ba xian YS. Nice when handled with kid gloves or gets bitter quick, 80c and many flash steeps. Floral & nuts with fruity hints, quite soft. Towards the end of the session can be nice bitter if you like the dan cong taste.
2017 ginger aroma dan cong YS: Surprised by this one, really liked its longevity and interesting taste & aroma. Its a thumbs up.
Drinking a white tea from Myanmar by way of White2Tea. It’s made from wild buds, and I’m not sure, but it seems like it may be a yabao. Got it from the Puerh Plus TTB a while back. Viscous in a good way, light but still full flavored. Piney and maybe some sweet mint. Lovely on a summer morning.
Qi Lan zhengyan from what-cha – amazing. Loved the (albeit short) sessions of this.
Sipping on high elevation mi lan xiang from Verdant with a pistachio mamoul cookie. It’s thick and nectary, like drinking peach juice. An excellent dan cong, but alas a bit too pricey to be a daily drinker.
Yaupon Black from Harney. It has a lovely maple undertone. :)
Jing tea shop song zhong.
I was walking around in between steeps literally feeling like a peach. Those huigans
I also dreampt about it last night. Lovely stuff.
Dragon tea house shan lin xi 3rd prize. I love it for dark spinachy cherry noms. A really good tea as well
fujian anxi tgy from what-cha.
Been thoroughly impressed with this one. Its really well balanced and gentle in the right places. Another nice thoughtful cup. Slight butter, good florals with some nice fruit sweet that balances with the vegetal so it doesnt stray too far in the veg direction. nice
