Davids Tea
Went to a David’s Tea for the first time in Chicago several weeks ago…by the time I walked out the door I think I had brought down most of the wall to inhale and contemplate purchases.
Most I loved. Some befuddled me.
I would love some suggestions on dessert teas or if anyone has some Davids theyre looking to unload happy to swap/buy.
I got a bunch of Buttered Rum, most of it unopened. I also got Moment of Zen and probably a few others. I’d like to sell, I’m in the US. Following, so lemmie know.
I have quite a bit and I can post a list tomorrow. Following you as well.

I’ve been sampling teas from them. I really like their Hot Chocolate Pu’erh (it’s a pu’erh/black tea blend, though, but it’s like hot chocolate in tea form) and their Pumpkin Chai. I have several other teas that I received recently but haven’t tried yet.
My current favourite from DT is their banana nut bread. Naturally sweet, very banana-y, and no artificial gross aftertaste.
Also love alpine punch as a latte.
I would go by there whenever I happened to visit San Francisco. The holiday blends were pretty good. (Like the Santa’s Secret.)
Magic Dragon is a delicious hibiscus/dragonfruit based blend, and great hot or cold. Walked home with Sleigh Ride today, which one one of the samples they had out. I’ve only been shopping at David’s since September, and buying the sampler boxes is a great way to try out different flavors (I especially recommend the Sweet Indulgence set if its in stock). Can also second the Santa’s Secret suggestion.

Buddha’s Blend, Peppermint Amour, North African Mint, Countess of Seville, Ginger Pear, Grape Expectations, Rhubarb Chai, Blueberry Jam, Santa’s Secret, Apple Custard, and a BUNCH of random samples. Let me know if any sound good.
santas secret and apple custard sound great! I’d like to sample anything dessert-y as well :)
I have the following sweeter teas I could give you samples of:

-luscious watermelon
I also have “strawberries and cream” (a rooibos blend) from steeped tea if you are interested.

Luscious Watermelon – how does that taste hot? Or is it meant to be an iced tea?
It’s been a very long time since I’ve had it hot- there is no hibiscus in it so it’s not tart but truly it’s best iced. Ingredients are: Apple pieces, carrot flakes, watermelon flakes, wild strawberry leaves, honeydew Melon (honeydew, sugar) beetroot, artificial watermelon flavoring.
Kristal if you still have peppermint amour, cold911, or birthday cake samples. I’d like to swap.
