After that Harney and Sons tea this morning, this Tazo tea just does not compete. Sans additions, it is really bitter. With additions, it’s just a weak, noncomplex drink posing as tea. It would do in a pinch, but it’s not something I’ll stock.

drank Iced Passion Tea by Tazo

I know I know this doesn’t really count… But after a full day of work it was so nice out that I had to stop and get some from Starbucks. Venti Passion Tea Lemonade, light ice, sweetened. Perfection! My favorite go to refreshing beverage from Starbucks! As always. Since the first time I had this I was hooked! Fruity yet not too powerful or sweet. The perfect balance.

Sil

haha that’s basically my order minus the sweetened, otherwise there’s just too much ice!

Drank this tea hot. Still quite good but I definitely like this one better iced.

Had this iced again, always very pleasant. The touch of hibiscus is what gives the tea its deep purple color and tasty tang.

One of my favorite TAZO teas, the second being Wild Sweet Orange, this is a tea that’s most perfect iced. I love the tang as well as the deep purple color of the brew.

Ah I only end up getting this brand because it is the brand sold by Starbucks. Usually I add Lemon to my tea, but when Starbucks does not provide a wedge (which they usually don’t) and when I don’t bring my own (though I usually do) I have this tea often plain. I order it in a Tall cup, but with double the tea bag, to provide more strength in flavor.

I like my tea bitter, and in terms of bitterness I enjoy this very much. I would never think to buy it in a box, however.

This is an OK green, kind of bitter and bland. The mint feels strong to me, overpowering the lemongrass especially. In a pinch it’ll do, but not a personal favorite.

What is wrong with me? This is the best replacement for artificial cold drinks I have had. After I shared the secret of pouring this tee on a big cup of ice at the office with my husband, he was inquiring about a steady cheap supply. Instantaneous hit. I like to steep it long.
It is not exactly like a tea, but it is a great natural cold drink.

drank African Red Bush by Tazo

To this day, one of the best examples of how good rooibos can be. Most rooibos blends go straight for tons of sugar, etc, but this one had a lovely tartness that balanced the natural creaminess of red tea.

The flavor profile is GRASSY and that’s the key word to latch onto. Kinda dull and tastes like sipping down a brewed cup of grass.

I used to drink this solely as a vehicle for ginger, because the blend was incredibly astringent and left a stale taste in your mouth.

The best of their green tea offerings, Zen is a milder version of a Moroccan Mint, but the subtlety does well.

I love this blend. The different tea varieties work together so smoothly for an exquisitely good cuppa. Good luck getting a box though since it’s only out around Christmas!

It’s a solid Earl Grey, but nothing out of the ordinary. I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse, however, Earl Grey is pretty simplistic and hard to screw up.

Best mint tea, hands down. When I’m craving a mint tea, this is my go-to. Something about the tarragon in the blend balances the peppermint so well. Plus, the iced version is the best thirst quencher on a hot summer day!

Decent, but too many floral notes to balance the strong hibiscus taste.

While I can fully admit I’m not a huge fan of Chamomile, I’ve had ones that I’ve really liked. This one wasn’t one of them. It’s not terrible, or bland, but it also doesn’t draw out the full potential of what it could be.

One of the best Chai teas I’ve had. Most of them skimp on the spiciness, but this one brings it up full force. Highly recommended.

Back when I worked at Starbucks, a coworker of mine told me that this tasted like “disappointment.” The scent was so strong and sweet, but when you took a sip the flavors could mildly be distinguished, but it went beyond being subtle to barely there.

I really wanted to like this tea, but oftentimes it ended up with this Splenda-ish taste to me, probably because the base wasn’t balanced enough.

This is my go-to for an upset tummy! Aah… cooling and nice. I’m a vegetarian and I accidentally ate some meat at dinner. I think it is disagreeing with me, but this tea is just the ticket.

Short Sorceress

I hate when that happens, it always leaves me with an upset stomach.

High Adventure

For sure! Thank goodness for tea to make it all better.

This is my go-to when I have an upset stomach — the mint really helps. I leave the bag in to maximize the mintiness, but that might be too much for some people. I know many people don’t like Tazo, but my unrefined palate doesn’t mind it.
