10 minutes this time. Slightly stronger, but not much. I was hoping for the herbal version of my Cinnamon Apple Breakfast tea, but I didn’t get it. It’s not bad. Just meh. Hopefully the chamomile in this will be enough to help me sleep.
Preparation
I can’t believe Monday is going by this fast…there’s too much that needs doing. Finally getting to sit down and enjoy a cuppa. Everyone needs a bit of cranberry before Thanksgiving, right?
Also decupboarding this one…yay!
Preparation
This tea is delicious. It tastes like you literally mixed 1 part green tea, 2 parts cranberry juice, and 1 part pomegranite juice. It’s tart and bright, with just enough sweet to counteract the tart. One of my favorite Lipton teas.
Preparation
Getting a bit more orange out of this today, though the jasmine is right there in your face. The heat has yet to be turned on in our building, so I’ve got a little space heater right next to me (3 foot safety radius? I don’t know what you’re talking about), and my HotShot loaded with water for the next cup. Hello, cold weather!
Preparation
When I squeezed the tea bag, I got a fantastic whiff of orange. The brewed tea smells more like Jasmine than oranges. There’s a slight bitter edge, and the tea tastes more floral than fruit. Will brew for 2 minutes next time and see what happens. Not getting much passionfruit at all.
Preparation
I was eyeing this one last time at the store. I’ve recently found out I’m not a huge jasmine fan, but thought mixed with the other flavors it would round out the taste more. Sorry to hear that’s not the case!
I’d be more than happy to send a few bags your way if you’d like. I’m seriously having a tea-buying issue right now…I have plenty, but keep buying more. And am currently making a list of ones to look for at Whole Foods today…
I’m the same way, my tea shelf is turning into a tea cupboard. And I have a small list of teas I want to pick up at World Market tomorrow as I have a $10 off coupon burning a hole in my wallet! I’m still working through the samples you sent, so maybe we can do a swap in a few weeks. I’ll have more new teas then too!
Down to the last bag of this…and luckily, I brought a bunch of tea bags to reload my work stash. The heat’s out again, so I’ll be trying to stay warm all day.
