I love this tea. I’m not sure what the other people are talking about as it has become my new favourite. I drink a few cups at work everyday and people love the smell of it. I have a bit of a sweet tooth so if you like fruit flavoured candy this one is for you!

drank Morocco Mint and Spices by Lipton

As others have said the mint overpowers the spice and as a result it tastes like old chewing gum.
Just about drinkable when you add sugar but defiantly not something I would look forward to after a long day.

1 pyramid bag for 250mL water.

Smells great — peaches, peach fuzz, a bit of mango.

Tastes bitter and soapy. Boiling water, just-off-the-boil water, cooler water — doesn’t seem to matter. Mineral bitter and soapy, at that.

A very unorthodox kind of tea, but if you like fruit (especially pineapple) you should definitely give it a try. Smells lovely too. It’s like an exotic holiday in a teabag!

Where can you buy it? I’ve had it before, but can’t seem to find it anymore.

drank Lipton Black Tea by Lipton

I give it more than zero only because it can inject caffeine into my system at 3 o’ clock when there are no other teas available. Other than that, it tastes like nothing. When people say that they “don’t like tea,” it’s usually because all they know is Lipton.

I tried this tea while I was in Portugal. I absolutely love the flavor. Hints of flower tickle the taste buds. I wish I could find this product in the U.S.

This may not be my favorite tea, but boy do I feel especially healthy on this fine Memorial Day. A spot of amber agave takes the edge off a bit.

With a name like this, it must be healthy, huh? I like the tea, and can’t help but think my body likes it too. As usual, a bit of agave nectar to bring out the flavors. Heres to your health.

drank Forest Fruits by Lipton

A pretty good ‘forest fruit’ type tea, but to be honest I think all like this just end up tasting of sugar and not much else! Try Tesco value blackberry and apple and you’ll definitely know what I mean …

Pretty good, overall. It shocked me at first how different this was to grapefruit juice! :P

Absolutely love this. It’s an ‘acquired taste’, but once you have ‘acquired’ it, well!

My daily cuppa..

I really wanted to enjoy the first (quick) steeping without milk, but alas, I gave into the seductive power of the creamer sitting on the desk next to me. Second steeping, straight, was fine.

Now I think my quest will be to find a really nice orange pekoe/breakfast blend that I can use as my every day tea without adding anything, something economical but of the loose tea variety for sure. Any suggestions??

Maybe David’s Organic Breakfast? Bright and hearty and much more ‘alive’ than many English Breakfast blends out there.

That’s already the first thing that comes to mind, so maybe that’s what it’ll be. It was actually the first tea I purchased from DT but I’ve grown by leaps and bounds in my tea knowledge/experience since then so I’ll probably appreciate it a whole lot more. Thanks for chipping in your two cents! :)

Does tea keep you up or doesn’t it? My mom always drank tea in the evening. I hear a lot of my colleagues say they drink only herbal teas in the afternoon and onwards. Heck, my dad always drank his coffee at night.

So I brewed some of this my usual way, strong, with cream, and went about my usual business of sterilizing bottles, etc. Several hours later I was still watching old episodes of Conan with the wifey .. maybe the Ceylon Silver Tips that came afterwards had some effect ;)

Backlogged from late last night … what’s nice about tea is I find it can help you stay awake but it doesn’t keep you up if you don’t want to be – for me, anyway. Does that make sense?

Straight this time in multiple short infusions. Unfortunately that meant not much flavour with each.. probably stick to strong with milk/cream at least for 1st round

About 2sp, first infusion with cream about 3 mins, malty/tasty as usual.

2nd infusion left in for a while and still not bitter, a very pleasant taste indeed.

Still impressed with this blend and I know why it is popular all around the world.
