67 Tasting Notes
The aroma is sweet honey and malty tones. The liquor brews quite dark chestnut colour. I drank this in my 16oz tumbler and it provided me with the pick me up that I needed. As many of you know I am new to the world of teas and many times it will be the first time that I have ever tried said tea which was the case with this assam tea.
I must say that I quite enjoyed this malty brew and look forward to having many more cuppas of this tea.

So excited to be the first to rate this tea on Steepster. So my husband has been drinking Genmaicha tea for years and I would every now and then smell and taste it and I couldn’t quite understand what he loved about this tea! I really couldn’t however, this was before I fell in love with Tea and boy do I really like this tea. Just like how I had to acquire the taste for wine the same goes for tea and this one is no exception.
Once you “find” this tea you will love it! The Tea Spot has done this Genmaicha tea to perfection. The roasted brown rice really gives this green tea its flavor source with an incredible hearty nuttiness.
Flavors: Earth, Nutty, Toasted Rice

This Tisane delivers a wild berry zinger punch! I brewed this in my 16oz tumbler left the tea bag in and it was great! Loved the different berry flavours of raspberry and sweet blackberries. I do see that some other steepsters have been particularly harsh when rating this tea but I also noticed that a lot of the reviews are well over 4 years ago so maybe Celestial made some changes because this was really good.
Flavors: Blackberry, Hibiscus, Raspberry
My husband bought this for me for my birthday and I couldn’t be happier with this tumbler. I love that it holds 16oz because I love my tea but I also love how slender it is and easy for me to hold as I am a petite woman. The design of the bottle is just beautiful with the glass and cork chic yet eco friendly all which are very important to me.
I have done both cold brew with this and hot brewing successfully. I love the way I am able to drink from it as well the glass is nice and rounded there so you have this smooth contact with your lips and you get no spillage.
My only con is that I do not like to over steep my leaves and when you need to remove the infuser which is at the bottom A. You need to be careful it’s hot! and B. Its a little messy. All stuff that I can live with though.
There is nothing special about this tea. I have tried it both hot and cold now and its just meh! The blueberry taste is just really watered down and I tried short steeps and long steeps and every time the flavour was barely there.
I truly do not understand the hype about this tea.
So I tried this one last night, it is a very mellow chai with sweet flavor and the coconut is very present in the tasting.
However, I do find that the rooibos is a little over powering in this tea. I think that I am learning that I am not a huge fan of rooibos. I got this one as part of a sample kit so I am happy to finish the rest but do not think I will be repurchasing this one.
Flavors: Coconut, Wet Wood

First off I would like to say how impressed with The Tea Spot from the day that I placed my order to the day I received it was only 4 days, that is amazing!
Now on to the tea, its wonderful very soft and subtle buttery taste. I managed to finish my first cup far too fast and need another re-steep right away. This tea is heavenly!
Flavors: Artichoke, Butter

First I have got to say that I get such a kick out of other reviewers when they complain about the Cinnamon! I laugh because hello its a cinnamon apple spice tea, I would be pretty pissed buying this tea if it didn’t taste like cinnamon. Rant over. lol
This tea is exactly as advertised a nice cinnamon apple spice tea that is perfect for the Canadian winter day we are having today. Stay warm my peeps!
Flavors: Butterscotch, Candy, Cinnamon, Green Apple
So Red Velvet cupcakes are my favourite so I was incredibly excited to see this at Goodness Me Grocery Store that I had to buy it. Brewed this tea tastes just as good as I had hoped for the smell is fantastic the liquor is a dark red and the taste is everything that I wanted it to be with notes of raspberry, buttermilk, cocoa and sweetness. No milk or sugar needed!
Flavors: Cake, Cheesecake, Cocoa, Creamy, Raspberry
Assam is a great tea that has more tannin thsn other teas. The tea bushes are drenched by storms near the sea at lower altitudes. This is what makes the tea so strong. It goes really well with milk products. So you can either put milk in it, or drink it while eating yoghurt or anything creamy. :)
Thank you for this note I love learning all this new information about the different variety of tea. I drank it without milk and just one sugar and that was great, I’ll try it with some milk next time too.
