SIPDOWN 22
I took the rest I had from Shae and measured… one teaspoon, second teaspoon, third… and still something remained. Not a whole teaspoon, but maybe a half of it.
I used the ball strainer and used everything and decided to make super short steep — one minute with some movement of the strainer to brew it.
It turned out great. Now, there wasn’t any astringency and the tea was really cookie-like. Quite almond-y but as well very creamy, a bit of vanilla as well and butter-cookie like. The flavour was very similar to dry tea aroma; which made me very happy.
Much better experience than I had a month ago. And I am very glad it was that better. And it’s interesting tea for sure, but I am not that sure I will crave for it often. It’s quite sweet for my taste, but at least I can tell it is well made. But it’s Lupicia so not a surprise.
Flavors: Almond, Butter, Cookie, Creamy, Sweet, Vanilla
I’ll have to try brewing my pouch of this one the way you did. Didn’t love it the last time I made a cup of this one either.
I hope it will work well for you too!
I have always liked this one but it required a splash of milk :P
