I first tried a sample of this one from tea-sipper this summer. It was the first maple tea I’d tried, and I vaguely remembered liking it, so I ordered some more during the Black Friday sale. My whole office smelled like amazing maple after I brewed my cup. Maybe I steeped it too long, but the rooibos flavor was much too strong, and DT doesn’t use a particularly good rooibos base. I drank a rebrew cold the next day, and it tasted much better and more mapley. I’ve since tried better maple teas, so I’m not as sad as I anticipated I would be by this one disappearing. I do still need to find a good maple rooibos though.
On a side note, I went to a Tibetan restaurant last night and had the tastiest cardamom milk tea. I’m going to have to make some at home.
Ooooh, cardamom milk tea sounds so good!
