I think I’m hooked on this thing! I tried it without milk, and it is still very good. Although I usually don’t like citrus in general, I think bergamot really has a distinctive character that sets it apart from other citrus fruits. It produces a very elegant fragrance which is perfect to be sniffing at in the morning.
Add: Rated it down a bit because it sometimes tasted like iron if that makes any sense. It’s weird, but was quite unpleasant nontheless.
Add2: I don’t think I can drink this particular Earl Grey without milk anymore. The metallic taste was just too much when drunk straight. Adding milk solves the problem entirely.

Have had the same metallic taste before. In my case it was steeping it in a cheap metal teapot. The insides had corroded without me realising. :)
But I do know what you mean. Nice review.
If you get the chance, try Earl Grey Supreme by Harney and Sons. Ecstacy! The tea base is amazing, and the bergamot is juuuuuuust right.
I’ll definitely take note of your recommendation for my future H&S purchase. So far Earl Grey has been a “meh” tea for me but I guess it could still change.

Shall I send you enough for a pot? :) PM your address to me!
I would be more than happy to try some, but I’m afraid that the situation here in Canada regarding mail is grim right now as the strikes are still ongoing, and I’ve heard that USPS has stopped receiving Canada-bound mail. Thanks anyways :)
