The treats we ordered were delicious, but this is a tea room, and person who brewed my tea dropped the ball.
I chose a peacock green tea, and it was prepared with boiling, hot hot hot water. The tea came to me so scorched, it tasted like charcoal and I couldn’t drink a full cup.
The place is beautiful, though a little odd in Chinatown, hopefully they have learned since that different teas need different temperatures.
