I LOVED this tea. Its basically the White Peony ‘with more silver buds’. I feel like maybe this should be the regular white Peony and the other one a lower quality. From trying other brands I found that the ratio of buds to leaves is not that special.

It is still a pretty good tea as long as the packaged is working properly. This has been my worst problem with adagio. many of the bags don’t really seal close after the first time opened. I did solve it with their containers but I feel like if you spend $30-50 in a bag of tea it should seal closed at least a few times.

I love a good white tea. This one was pretty good. Refreshing and somewhat herbaceous (in a good way). I feel like I’m drinking refreshing and sweet hay, if that makes sense.

I find it is a great tea for those times when you just want to relax and enjoy subtle notes.

I tried this one gong fu style. The scent is intoxicating and yummy. I really had my hopes up and well. To me it was OK it didn’t deliver the greatness suggested by the description. It felt somewhat exaggerated.

Overall it has an very present chocolate scent and taste and it seems to be a black with a faint hint of Phoenix Oolong. Very pleasant and nice, sweet and creamy. After that all other steeps seem to get more Oolong-like and astringent and this part was the one that let me down. I know it is sort of a hybrid between black and Oolong but it felt almost like a flavored Oolong who’s flavor washed away in the first steep and then the actual nature of the tea appeared.

Extreme chocolate goodness, I love the cream like feel and the maltiness of it. To me an everyday AND special reward tea for me. What I like the most is that it doesn’t seem to get astringent at all.

Loved this black tea. It has a strong chocolate taste. It is creamy and smooth, it later taste like plums to me with hints of smoke and chocolate. I’d recommend it, it gets a bit astringent after a few steeps.
