5 Tasting Notes
I made this too hot (212F) and steeped it for too long (4 minutes)….and it is absolutely hitting the spot at this moment. I just really wanted a malty black tea that would punch me in my allergy-addled head. This works.
Preparation
It’s a delightful, light-on-the-tongue tea with a slight natural sweetness to it that avoids any cloying tendency—a big must for me. The package recommended a 2-3 minute steep time, but I went cough wild and brewed it for a full 3 minutes and 30 seconds. I’ll likely test that at 4 next time.

Preparation
I used the loose leaf tea. Ahmad is a favorite amongst some friends so I wanted to try some of their tea. When I saw the Cardamom Tea, it was my must-have choice. Based on the back-of-the-box instructions, I steeped at the median of their suggested time—or six minutes. I figured I could adjust up or down from there. Six minutes was perfect. Great cardamom taste and a lovely and smooth black tea in the background. With my unexpectedly huge tin—I didn’t pay attention and ended up with 500g of the stuff, I’m pretty set for quite a while.
