It’s all right. Iced matcha latte was good, though when I asked the employee what grade it was, she said “really high quality”, and when I prompted “ceremonial?” she paused and said yes. It’s not, judging by the color and taste, though the way they make the latte is kind of fun – taking advantage of the blender to create foam instead of hand whisking it.
I was also here during the scoutmob promotion, but the tea was INSANELY over-priced and my scones were 1in by 1in. I was really disappointed by that. Their lemon curd is to die for though.
Real talk, Atlanta is not known for tea, but if I HAD to pick one physical location, this one takes the cake.
It’s fairly dirty in an old, kitschy kind of way. I was not impressed with my tea (black currant cardamom) because he put a spoonful in a bag and the cup was overwhelmingly huge.
The best part? It smelled and tasted acidic sour, like vomit. Many of the books on the shelves have damage or even mold on them. I can’t bring myself to come here ever again.
