Leif is a big fan of ‘Team Fortress 2", an online game that he is into right now. So naturally he wanted to try out one of the fandom teas affiliated with it. After looking through his options, he selected this one. It’s actually quite nice! It is a blend of osmanthus, white peony, chamomile, marigold, rose hips, & orange peels. A very delicate blend, the chamomile takes centerstage, with the orange peel adding a gentle tartness. It’s also a lovely blend to look at, & smells like a field of spring…I guess the creator was trying to create the feeling of laying on a grassy knoll, breathing in the gentle essence of clover & tiny flowers, relaxing, with target in sight?

Haha. That’s pretty hilarious. I was wondering why such a gentle blend would be associate with TFT2. Man, there’s a tea for EVERYTHING.

Leif explained to me that a tea for snipers would have to be caffeine free so that they would be able to remain still & steady.

YAY SOMEONE REVIEWED THIS BLEND! I made it.

Ahaha, yeah it is kinda of a soft blend. It is version number 2; original had gunpowder. I like to have my fandoms vary in tea types so there is bound to be something someone will like and to keep it balance. The basis of the tea is for the leaf and liquor to look yellow… cause when you snipe you have to stay in one place… with no bathrooms….. just jars….. I think you get it. Leif would be able to tell you the reference in the TF2 presents vids.

I’m glad you liked it. From what it sounds like the look and flavor are exactly what I wanted to come out. YAY! I’m just sad that adagio doesn’t offer osmanthus anymore. I loved using that in blends.

Thank you so much for the awesome review!

Bio

I’m so excited to have found this community! I’m a self-employed Harpist (acoustic & electric – Originals, Classical, Rock, Jazz, etc) & Singer/Songwriter. My days & nights revolve around teaching at home, playing gigs, gardening,& fixing awesome food to eat. My schedule is different everyday, but I just go with the flow, & I sip a lot of tea!

My love of Tea began with Herbals back in the 70’s. One of my favorites was a licorice blend from House of Hezekiah, an old tea shop in Kansas City. There was also a tea with mint, rose petals, chamomile, etc called Nuclear Casual Tea.
In the 80’s I gave up caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, (& a few illicit substances…), and brewed medicinal blends & tinctures to support 4 pregnancies (all children born at home). In the 90’s my love affair with green teas began when I discovered ‘The Republic of Tea’. Their beautiful teas & packaging inspired my original song, “TeaMind”, from my CD “Zen Breakfast”. If you’d like to hear the song for free, drop by my website.

In general, I drink my teas straight, but occasionally I add a pinch of Stevia & maybe some coconut or almond milk (I’m allergic to dairy, gluten, & various other things & avoid most sweets.)

I’ve explored a variety of teas:
Whites tend to be a little bland…sorry
Oolongs – wonderfully sensual
Roobios – I’m not a fan in general
Puehr – a fairly new direction for me
I’m not a huge fan of flavored teas, but I do make exceptions, & I’ll try just about anything once.

And Black Tea, Oh how I love thee!!
I am on a quest for the most wonderful breakfast cup! I will find you, my Love!
