A deep-steamed gyokuro-like kabusecha from the town of Onejime, Kagoshima, “Gyokuro Zukuri” utilizes saemidori cultivar tea leaves harvested on April 15, 2016. The young leaves and the cultivar make for a bright green flavor while the deep steaming turns the tea deliciously opaque. Low astringency.
