This is a pressing of Mengku tea harvested in Spring 2003 and then stored in Nan Jian until early 2020 when the tea stocks were moved to Kunming. It’s a nice relatively tippy raw pu-erh tea that has aged quite alot! Tight compression has allowed for a gradual aging process, while preserving much of the Mengku character of tea.
Thick viscous orange colored tea soup with a warming mouth feel and returning sweetness and a cool after-finish! This is a tea that has nice a smooth taste, cha qi, and goes many many steeps!
