Description

Entirely Old and Ancient Arbor tea from the Spring 2017 Harvest from Zhang Jia Wan village in the Yi Wu mountain range. Zhang Jia Wan is near Ding Jia Zhai and Yao Ding area of Yi Wu. Zhang Jia Wan at 1400 meters is not a super high altitude but fairly typical for the Yi Wu area.

Zhang Jia Wan tea trees range in 60 to 200 years old, are pure assamica (大叶种), large and stout, and have a deep olive-green color. More importantly this tea will brew up a perfectly balanced thick and pungent brew. Bitter, sweet, umami, honey, brine and orchid essence can be found in this wonderful tea.

Harvest Area: Zhang Jia Wan (village), Lao Man Sa section of the Yi Wu mountain range, Meng La county of Xi Shuang Banna
