“Another sample size I ordered from Yunnan sourcing. I broke out 10 grams to brew tonight. The dry lea has a cedar/pine aroma to it. I gave a quick rinse to open it up a bit and drank the first...” Read full tasting note

Description

Jia Bu is a neighboring village to Xi Kong village (3.3km due NE from Xi Kong) and shares a similiar character to Xi Kong but still entirely unique in it’s own right. Like Xi Kong this is Ancient Arbor tea and is also a primitive small leaf varietal that has grown in this area for hundreds if not thousands of years. Like other small leaf varietal wild arbor tea trees in Yunnan (Jing Mai), the flavor is lighter and more smooth, but the aroma is pungent with hints of flowers and fruit.

Entirely late Autumn tea, this brews up a strong aromatic and thick tea soup that lingers in the mouth long after drinking. Easily brews 10+ times.
