Description

Zhejiang “Gunpowder” Tea (aka Ping Shui Zhu Cha) is made from early spring small leaf varietal of Zhejiang green tea from the town of Ping Shui. The tea is rolled into these tiny shiny pellets and high fire roasted in a dry wok. This high fire rolling process preserves the aroma and thickness of taste in the tea across a period of several years. This gives Gunpowder green one of the longest shelf lives of any green tea.
