“Sipdown! Grandpa-style tea of the day. I’m enjoying this one much more than the Turtle Dove. It does have the quintessential white tea hay and autumn leaf sort of notes, but it’s also quite creamy...” Read full tasting note
“Censers has an excellent thick texture with notes of honey, floral, hay, coconuts, and bran. It is a delicate steeper, so it will go bitter on you if you are not careful. Full review on Oolong Owl...” Read full tasting note
A specially commissioned baimudan grade white tea from Guizhou province. We tried and fell in love with this tea in 2017, but were too late to buy any of the material. In the spring of 2018 we had our money in the producers hands before the buds were plucked.
Censers is an elegant white tea with a full bodied smoothness. The tea has a bright and complex fragrance that endures throughout a long session, lingering in the mouth and the cups long after the tea has gone. The fragrances and flavors shift between sweet floral aromas and fresh light fruits. One of our favorite white teas from 2018 spring.
